ABOUT ME
I’m Ben Foden, a music producer, songwriter, and mix engineer based in Leeds. I love working closely with artists to bring their ideas to life—whether it’s crafting a killer song, nailing the perfect mix, or guiding the whole creative process. I’ve had the pleasure of working with incredible talent like MOBO-winning rapper Graft and collaborating on projects for The Manchester Film Orchestras, BBC Radio 4, Pizza Express, and The One Show.
I also run “Blind Audio,” a hub for passion projects, and co-host the podcast “Blind In The Industry” with my good friend Dan Brown. Sessions with me are relaxed, collaborative, and fun—because making music should feel just as good as it sounds!
This video showcases the creation and deconstruction of an instrumental beat created for a passion project at the amazing LSA facilities.
PRODUCTION STREGTHS
When it comes to production, I’m at my best in hip-hop, soul, R&B, and everything within that space. My sound blends live instruments (keys are my main instrument!) with smooth, polished production, and I love getting creative with synthesis and sampling. I focus on the little details that make a big difference, so each track supports your vision and sounds just right. Whether it’s a laid-back session or a more structured project, I make sure the process is easy, fun, and collaborative.
